This life size Gorilla sculpture was covered in hand drawn typography by Tom Lane & Ged Palmer to celebrate the Bristol Zoo’s 175 birthday. Studio 375 provided the concept of the butcher diagram to Tom & Ged asking them to bring the sculpture to life by doing the custom typography of the bush-meat trade in Africa. After they finished the gorilla was covered in heat sensitive black paint so the facts were revealed when touched. I think the type treatments are great! What do you think?
