Sebastein Miller’s digital civil disobedience

My name is Sebastein Miller, I started Thou$and as a platform to express ideas and concepts. The ideas started growing from around 2012 and never stopped. This collection is called Civil Disobedience, the collection consists of 8 pieces. In this collection I explored digital appropriation using Adobe Photoshop to create each piece. The primary technique used for this collection is collage, whereby I collected different visual references and assembled them together to create a whole. Each composition has a focal point but layered with symbols that can be taken at a deep or face value. The concepts involved in this collection include propaganda, activist identity, and subtle layers of personal interests. A picture says a Thou$and words.
