Eron’s bird murals take flight and form on the streets of Italy

Italian artist Eron has created a pair of murals depicting a seagull and heron as they take flight under a viaduct in Riccione, Italy. Each stunning mural depicts the animals in a sequence and as they take flight, their forms become also more realistic and detailed. What starts out as little more than a black and white silhouette becomes a fully formed bird in flight.

Eron is a street artist whose work often touch on social issues. His work goes beyond simple representation of the subject at hand and attempts to give the viewer materialization of a thought or dream like the feeling of deja vu. Images tap into the viewer’s subconscious and illicit feelings of familiarity and past experience. [h/t]
